Playing poker with fewer than 52 playing cards is not a new idea. The only hand varieties recognised have been, in descending order, four of a kind, full home, three of a sort, two pairs, one pair, no pair. Some readers may marvel why one would ever need to compare (say) two threes of a type of equal rank. In video games where a participant has more than five playing cards and selects five to kind a poker hand, the remaining playing cards don’t play any part within the rating. Poker ranks are all the time based mostly on five cards solely, and if these cards are equal the arms are equal, regardless of the ranks of any unused playing cards. There is no difference within the rankings for Texas Hold’em and Omaha poker video games.
